The Cleveland Indians face the Tampa Bay Rays Tuesday night. Tampa Bay has struggled offensively all season, scoring just 284 runs (3rd fewest in the AL) and has a team batting average of .244 (3rd lowest in the AL). On top of that, the Rays have struck out 624 times (T-3rd most in the AL). Salazar has an 11.47 k/9 and is a good bet for at least a quality start tonight.

Other Notables
Catcher
Lucroy is a .296 hitter on the road versus just a .162 hitter at home. He also has had success against Philadelphia Phillies starter Cole Hamels. Lucroy is 6-for-13 (.462/.533/.769) against him, with one 2B, one HR, three RBI, and two BB. The 29-year-old catcher has struggled to hit for power all season, but he’s coming off a four-hit night and is always capable of getting a hit or two.
Other Notables
First Base
Facing the New York Mets’ pitching staff is usually a bad thing for hitters, however the Chicago Cubs face LHP Jon Niese tonight. Rizzo has crushed LHP all season, batting .364/.485/.509 and is a .320 hitter on the road, to go along with 11 HR and 32 RBI this season. Niese has struggled all year, with a 4.12 ERA, a 4.25 ERA at home.
Other Notables
Second Base
Gordon has been unreal for the Miami Marlins this year. He leads all of baseball in AVG (.353) and is a .358 hitter at home this season. Gordon is 5-for-9 against San Francisco this year and is a career .344 hitter against Giants starter Ryan Vogelsong.
Other Notables
Third Base
Like Rizzo, Bryant has a favorable matchup tonight against Mets SP Jon Niese. Bryant is batting .308 against LHP, with four HR and 16 RBI. He’s 6-for-14 against the Mets this year and was 1-for-3 against Niese when he faced him earlier in the season.
Other Notables
Shortstop
SS is usually a position to save some money at, and tonight Segura fits into this lineup nicely. He’s a career .300 hitter against Cole Hamels and is a .321 hitter against LHP versus .234 against RHP. Hamels was knocked around in his last start, giving up five ER in five IP and has a 4.32 ERA in the month of June. Hopefully Segura can take advantage of that tonight.
Other Notables
Outfield
After getting off to a slow start this year, Springer has picked things up this month. He’s batting .321, with five HR and 10 RBI.
Yoenis Cespedes is batting .337 with three HR and 14 RBI in June. He’s a .322 hitter against RHP, with seven HR and 29 RBI versus just .211 with one HR and three RBI against LHP.
Shin-Soo Choo is batting .282 against RHP, with eight HR and 23 RBI versus just a .149 hitter, with one HR and 10 RBI against LHP. Choo and the Rangers face Miguel Gonzalez (3.58 ERA) and the Baltimore Orioles tonight.
